On Chestnut serves hospitality, art and history in Cambria City.

205 Chestnut Street

A place On Chestnut that seeks to honor the history of Cambria City through supporting the arts, and providing a hospitable place to gather and stay in Johnstown.

On Chestnut is the brain child of Lynne Weaver. She grew up on Chestnut Street and you can read more about her here. You can see Lynne’s childhood home and the steeples of five churches from the dining room window On Chestnut. The huge kitchen has fed a small army for more than 100 years.

On Chestnut is within a block of the Venue of Merging Arts, The Bottle Works Arts Center, The Grand Halle, The Phoenix Tavern and Aces. With Cambria City Flowers, Our Sons Restaurant, The Wagner-Ritter House, B and L Wine Cellars, Ryan’s Artisan Goods, Heritage Discovery Center and The Center for Metal Arts within walking distance.
